Star Entertainment Group has been suspended from trading on the Australian Securities Exchange for failing to report its financial results.

The group received a copy of the findings of the NSW Independent Casino Commission’s Bell Report on Friday, August 30, the day its annual results were due to be released.

She requested a trading ban at that time.

The stay was granted while the group considers the findings of the report. Trading was originally expected to resume today.

However, the ASX announced today that the group’s securities “will be suspended from trading” from today “due to the failure to file relevant periodic reports when due”. The latest report found the organisation had not acted quickly enough to address culture and governance issues that emerged in 2022.
